Kalbarri Health Centre Location: Kaiber Street, Kalbarri WA 6536 Northampton Kalbarri Health Service is one of the initial three pilot Multi Purpose Services (MPS) in Western Australia. It consists of two sites, which service the entire Northampton Shire (Northampton Hospital and Kalbarri Health Centre). The current Kalbarri Health Centre will celebrate eight years of existence in March 2006. The Multi Purpose Centre is the second in the state and has proven an ideal model for smaller rural communities, accommodating all health care providers in the one place. The Northampton Kalbarri Health Service provides services aimed to prevent illness, promote health, support individuals/families in their homes, reduce the impact of disease or trauma, and to maintain independence and quality of life for residential aged care facility residents. Northampton Health Service staff are promoting healthy living and well-being in the hospital and the community to improve the health of people living in Northampton.
