Therapy Assistant Project (TAP)
Midwest and Murchison Health Region
The Therapy Assistant Project is a 12 month project that aimed to build on a number of different Therapy Assistant models operating in the region (including the Midwest ITA model) to improve best practice. It aimed to develop and pilot practical and usable materials and procedures and then make the information developed available to a wider audience in a user friendly way.
Project Conclusion The Therapy Assistant project concluded in September 2004. The outcomes and processes were evaluated by the Combined Universities Centre for Rural Health and the report detailing these evaluations and recommendations attached below. The preliminary report and other outcomes from the project were launched at a videoconference on 28 October 2004.
