Midwest Community Drug Service Team (MWCDST) is inviting the public and professionals to an open day at the Geraldton Community Sobering Up Centre, 3110 Larkin St Geraldton, as part of National Drug Action Week on Wednesday 28 June between 10am and 2pm.

 Drug Action Week is a national week of activities to raise awareness about alcohol and other drug issues and to promote the achievements of those who work to reduce drug related harm.

 The event will highlight the profile of the Midwest Community Drug Service Team, the GP doctors program, Geraldton Community Sobering Up Centre, safe drinking initiatives, prevention and Indigenous displays. The event will include nibbles, tea and coffee facilities, games; quizzes and prizes with an interactive display of “Drumbeat” the social development package.
