Located in the Shire of Irwin, 360kms north of Perth, Dongara is reached from the Brand Highway. Beautiful beaches provide perfect conditions for every form of water sport including fishing, swimming, sailing, surfing and windsurfing, not to mention just relaxing on the beach.

Dongara Health Service became a Multi Purpose Service (MPS) in August 2000, thus incorporating the provision of services to Dongara, Eneabba and Mingenew catchment areas.

The Dongara Eneabba Mingenew Health Service provides services aimed to prevent illness, promote health, support individuals/families in their homes, reduce the impact of disease or trauma, and to maintain independence and quality of life for residential aged care facility residents.
