Three Springs
Three Springs is the rail centre for the North Midlands, a thriving wheatbelt town.
A close knit community, Three Springs is located 313km north of Perth and 173km south east of Geraldton. Bulk grain silos dominate the townscape, testament to the area's dependence on agriculture.
Other industries within the shire include a talc mine located 13km to the east, grain growing, sheep, cartage, and a cattle feedlot. Yarra Yarra Lakes, an extensive salt lake system, reflects a range of colours from blue to green and red as well as attracting migratory birds. Wildflowers in the region also attract visitors to Three Springs during Spring.
